A CHRISTMAS CAROL PRESENTED BY THE PLAYHOUSE PLAYERS, LINCOLN
Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM from December 5 to December 22. Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors and students. Directed by Jean’s Playhouse new Producing Director, Scott H. Severance. Joining him is a full cast of local actors to reenact the classic tale of miserly Ebeneezer Scrooge, the ghost of his old partner Jacob Marley, and three spirits who teach him the true meaning of Christmas. THE SANTALAND DIARIES WITH FRAN PAGE, LINCOLN
Friday and Saturday Dec. 20 and 21 8 PM Woodstock Station Function Room, and Thursday through Saturday Dec 26-28, 7:30 PM Jean's Playhouse. This is a one-person show based on an essay by comedian David Sedaris about his short-lived experience working as a Christmas elf at Macy's in NYC.  Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors and students. MILES AND MILES OF MUSIC ACOUSTIC JAM SESSION, WOODSVILLE
Sunday December 22 1-5PM, at the Robert E. Clifford (R.E.C) Memorial Building, 65 South Court Street, Woodsville, NH. Acoustic string music jam supported by the Haverhill Recreation Department and Pete and Rita Stimson. If you sing "old country" we want you! If you enjoy music and would like to listen, your entry is free but donations are appreciated. Bring your own chair. CELEBRATE THE WINTER SOLSTICE, FRANCONIA
Sunday Dec. 22 5:30 PM potluck supper, 6:30 PM festivities begin at Neskaya Movement Arts Center, 1643 Profile Road, Franconia. Winter tales by Welsh storyteller Julia Lynam, learn about the planetary movements responsible for the lengthening of days, assist in bringing back the light in a candle lighting ceremony, informal drum circle.
