Sununu to Go Head to Head Against Lawmakers...On the Slopes

Twitter
A picture tweeted out from the Governor of him skiing with his son at Waterville Valley Resort last winter.

Governor Chris Sununu and other lawmakers will enjoy a day on the slopes Monday.

The Granite State Ski Cup is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. at Cranmore Mountain. State lawmakers, and the governor, will go head to head in a dual slalom race.

The fastest elected officials, both male and female, will be awarded an engraved 14-inch wooden medallion  made in Franconia. And bragging rights, of course.

This won’t be the Governor’s first time on skis. Sununu’s family owns the Waterville Valley ski resort and the Governor managed the resort before winning the corner office. He also skied with disabled veterans last week in the annual clinic hosted by New England Healing Sports Association at Mount Sunapee Resort.
