This week, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker became the 15th Republican running for president. Because he’s just declared, he didn’t have to meet a deadline this week to reveal how much money he’s raised over the past several months, unlike the other candidates in the race.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has raised $114 million dollars from Super PACs since January, the most of any candidate. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton raised $47.5 million, the most from individual donors.
NPR White House correspondent Scott Horsley and NBC News senior political reporter Perry Bacon discuss the latest in the race for 2016 with Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson.
