This Week's New Hampshire Arts Scene

Opening this weekend is the exhibition Lethal Beauty: Samurai Weapons and Armor. It features the work of over 30 different master craftsmen from as far back as the 1200s.

Starting tonight and running through next week, Red River Theatres will be playing Oscar nominated shorts.  It’s an opportunity to check out the animated, documentary, and live action short films up for the Academy Award this year.

The Italian band Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino will be playing at the Spaulding Auditorium next Wednesday.  The band is part of a movement in Italy of contemporary bands reinventing traditional Italian music.
