Wintry Mix Leads To Slow Going On Roads, School Delays

A wintry mix of weather during the Monday morning commute has led to slow going on state highways and about two dozen school delays.

Traffic was relatively smooth but slow along I-93 from Manchester to Concord.

A car off the road along I-93 north before the Hooksett tolls was causing a bit of a backup.

The Associated Press is reporting a couple of fender-benders were reported early Monday morning in the Lebanon and Manchester areas.

Several flights scheduled to take off from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport have been delayed.

The National Weather Service says the light snow is going to mix with sleet or freezing rain as warmer air moves in across southern sections of Maine and New Hampshire. Total snow amounts through the afternoon are expected to be in the range of one to 3 inches.

WMUR has compiled a list of school delays here.

You can check the status of flights at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport here.
