A New Course For Corrections

With shrinking state budgets, prison systems nationwide have been forced to change the way they do business, emphasizing cheaper, alternative punishments, cutting back on special programs like drug treatment and job training, and in some states, even serving inmates less food. We'll look at how corrections systems are trying to do more with less.
