Reflecting on a Decade of New Hampshire Reporting

NHPR reporter Dan Gorenstein at the Huntsman camp on primary night 2012.
Ryan Lessard for NHPR

We close this week with a farewell, to a reporter who has caused more than his share of driveway moments.

In his more than 11 years at NHPR, Dan Gorenstein has hit the campaign trail with presidential candidates, tracked historic debates at the statehouse, even followed the supply chain of mozzarella cheese once for a series on food. He has found stories of Granite Staters that sometimes left us laughing – and sometimes left us with lumps in our throats.

NHPR Honors Our Volunteers

Granite bench at 2 Pillsbury St., dedicated to Richard Edmunds and all of NHPR's volunteers

A bench has been erected and positioned on the grounds of the Pillsbury building in Concord in honor of Richard Edmunds, a twenty year New Hampshire Public Radio volunteer, and fellow NHPR volunteers.

Edmunds was one of the gracious volunteers who whole-heartedly dedicated his time to NHPR. Edmunds volunteered in the Underwriting department for 20 years and logged 3,490 hours of service to NHPR. He began volunteering in 1991 after retiring from his banking position and was a NHPR member since 1980.
