Attorney General's Office

New Hampshire authorities have found a body that they believe to be a woman who has been missing for four days, and her son has been arrested in Virginia on a charge of stealing her vehicle.

Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said the body was found in Canterbury on Monday afternoon and is believed to be that of 51-year-old Frances Nash, of Chichester. Her vehicle was previously reported missing and was found Wednesday in Canterbury.

An autopsy was scheduled.

New Hampshire's Emergency Management Director Perry Plummer has been urging residents to be patient but persistent with their service providers, as extremely cold weather drives demand for fuel deliveries. Mr. Plummer is on the line with me now.

Thank you very much for speaking with me.

My pleasure.

New Hampshire’s director of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is calling on Granite Staters to be vigilant in the wake of Sunday’s mass shooting at a church in Texas.

Perry Plummer says residents should be aware of their surroundings and report anything they think does not look right.
