Elaine Grant

Elaine is a veteran print journalist who has recently made the switch to radio. She's written for hundreds of magazines and newspapers, from Audubon to U.S. News & World Report. In addition to reporting on health and healthcare for NHPR, Elaine teaches a popular online magazine writing course and continues to freelance for a variety of magazines. Elaine has been an editor at Inc. Magazine and a producer on the former NPR talk show The Connection. Elaine received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Drew University and attended graduate school in journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. Elaine received a fellowship in journalism ethics from The National Press Foundation.
