New Hampshire Fisher Cats public address announcer Alex Miniak has been called up to the big leagues.
Miniak, a Manchester resident, beat out 800 applicants to becomes the new voice of the San Diego Padres.
He caught up with Morning Edition host Rick Ganley to talk about his new gig and some of the more difficult names he's had to pronounce.
