Gov. Chris Sununu delivered his budget address Thursday, outlining his priorities as the state Legislature kicks off its biannual budget writing cycle.
NHPR's newsroom has been reporting on what to expect this budget season — you can find a rundown on that right here — and now, we're offering more context on the things Sununu mentioned in the budget address itself.
As you scroll down and read the speech, you'll find reporters' remarks embedded in Sununu's text, along with links to additional reporting on some of the major issues he addressed: funding for full-day kindergarten, developmental disabilities services, infrastructure, water quality projects and more.
If you have any questions about what's mentioned — or not mentioned — in Sununu's budget proposal, let us know here. The governor will join NHPR for an hourlong interview next week, and we might be able to put your questions directly to him as part of that conversation.
