Alfred Hitchcock’s film “Vertigo” recentlyknocked Citizen Kane off its 50-year perch as the best filmof all time. That’s according to the Sight & Sound poll, a survey of critics and film industry pros published every ten years.
We may be experiencing a Hitchcock revival. The making of the film psycho is the subject of the new film “Hitchcock,”starring Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock, Scarlett Johanssen as Janet Leigh, and Helen Mirren as his wife and collaborator, Alma Reville Hitchcock. Additionally, Hitchcock’s obsession with actress Tippi Hedren is the subject of the HBO film, “The Girl,” starring Sienna Miller and Toby Jones
