Manchester Woman's 'Le Chien Poutine' Finalist in Fenway Frank Contest

www.kayem.com

A Manchester woman's hot dog creation could soon be on the menu at Fenway Park.

Danielle York's submission, "Le Chien Poutine," has made it to the top five in Kayem's "Create the Next Fenway Frank" online contest. Voting runs through the end of the day Friday.

"Poutine on a hot dog! French fries, beef gravy and cheese curds smothered on top of a Kayem Fenway Frank," reads the description.

"The recipe came to me pretty quickly," York told the New Hampshire Union Leader. "French fries and a hot dog go great together, and combining them gives you an extra hand to hold your beer."

York's submission is among five finalists selected from about 650 entries.

The winner's recipe will be served at Fenway Park through the rest of the season. The winner also gets a $1,000 cash prize.

Here are the other toppings named as finalists:

The Big Walk Off: "In honor of our DH's last season, this recipe features shredded cheddar jack cheese, chopped red onion, bacon bits, mango salsa and jalapenos."

The Pickled Porkbelly: "Fried bits of slow cooked pork belly, friend onions, bread and butter pickle chips and mustard."

The Kickin' Bostonian: "Shredded buffalo chicken, diced tomatoes, and creamy blue cheese dressing."

Sweet & Spicy Dog: "Shredded American cheese, pineapple chunks, red onion, jalapenos and cilantro."
