More Arrests Made In Apple Thefts At N.H. Orchards
By Associated Press
Less than a week after four people were arrested on suspicion of picking apples after hours at a New Hampshire orchard, five more people have been accused of the same offense.
Police responded to a call on Tuesday that a van had pulled up to the gates of Mack's Apples in Londonderry and that several people got out and started picking. The five people, all from the Boston area, were charged with theft and are scheduled for arraignment on Nov. 5 in Derry district court.
The four arrested last week were from Quincy, Mass.
