New Hampshire Ball Bearings is offering its employees counseling today, after an explosion at the Peterborough factory Monday blew out windows and injured 15 people.
The company says counseling is being offered at a satellite training facility, as the factory remains closed Wednesday.
All shifts have been canceled for the day.
The company says it hopes to resume operations Thursday in select departments.
An investigation is ongoing as to the cause of the explosion.
Two workers who were critically injured in the blast were transported by helicopter to trauma centers in Massachusetts.
The company's president Gary Yomantas said in a letter to employees that it may be some time before the cause of the explosion is known.
"I am actively engaged in the investigation of this accident," he said. "We are deploying all available resources and are working closely with the local and state fire departments, and officials from OSHA, New Hampshire Dept of Environmental Services, and other local, State, and Federal agencies.
