Report Cites Widespread Problems In New York's Prison System

The New York Inspector General is out with a scathing report blasting the state’s prison system.

The report found widespread security lapses and breakdowns in oversight that led to last summer’s escape from Clinton Correctional Facility, when two convicted murderers dug their way out of a maximum security prison in Dannemora, New York.
