Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee introduced a bill today that would require presidential candidates to release at least three years of their most recent tax returns.
The legislation comes as likely Republican nominee Donald Trump continues to receive criticism for not releasing his returns, although an aide with the campaign said Tuesday that the returns would be made public once the Internal Revenue Service concludes an audit.
