Snowstorm Not Expected To Affect Mancester Airport Departures

At this point, airport staff expect most flights should get out of Manchester's airport on time.

With much of the state under yet another heavy snow warning tomorrow, road conditions could quickly get dicey.  But if predictions hold, travelers at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport shouldn’t have much trouble flying out. 

Airport Assistant Director Tom Malafronte  says the Manchester airport hasn’t shut down because of snow for 23 years.  And for this forecasted wintery mix, he says most flights should go out.

Plane in I-93 Crash Once Made Emergency Landing in Nashua

Clue In Old Photo Leads To New Search For Amelia Earhart's Plane

New analysis of a photo taken in 1937 has led investigators to think it might show a piece of the landing gear from aviator Amelia Earhart's Lockheed Electra plane, which disappeared in June that year somewhere in the South Pacific.

Maine Aircraft Manufacturer Considering Berlin

Last week Berlin got the news that a new company – which officials declined to name - could be bringing at least 150 manufacturing jobs to the city. NHPR’s Chris Jensen has talked to the chief executive officer of that company.

The North Country could be getting into the high-tech end of the aircraft industry.

Kestrel Aircraft Company of Brunswick Maine is seriously considering setting up a plant in Berlin.

“Well, Berlin is one of the locations we have been looking at and there are a number of very interesting attributes there.”
